Also known as The City of Nizams and The City of Pearls,[1] Hyderabad is today one of the fast developing cities in the country and a modern hub of Information technology, ITES, and biotechnology. The people of Hyderabad are known as Hyderabadis, a term derived from the city's name Hyderabad.
Hyderabad has become a preferred conference venue in India as well as the world, with many conferences and meetings taking place in the city. The city is home to the world's largest film studio, the Ramoji Film City as well as the second largest film industry in the country, the Telugu Film Industry known popularly as Tollywood. HYDERABAD BIRYANI




It is a traditional celebration meal made using goat meat and rice and is a staple of Hyderabadi cuisine. This variety is popular in the city of Hyderabad, India. The blending of Mughlai and Telangana cuisines in the kitchens of the Nizam, ruler of the historic Hyderabad State, resulted in the creation of Hyderabadi Biryani.

LAD BAZAR





Laad Bazaar or Choodi Bazaar is a very old market popular for bangles located in Hyderabad. It is located on one of the four main roads that branch out from the historic Charminar.
Laad meaning lacquer is used to make Bangles, on which artificial diamonds are studded. In this kilometre-long shopping strip exclusively for women. A vast and colourful array of stores selling bangles, saris, wedding related items, cheap jewellery etc are sold here.

BIRLA MANDIR



Birla Mandir, Hyderabad is a magnificent Hindu temple of Lord Venkateshwara incorporated in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is built entirely in white marble by the Birla Foundation. The Birla Foundation has constructed several similar temples in India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir.
The granite of the presiding deity is about 11 ft (3.4 m). tall and a carved lotus forms an umbrella on the roof. The consorts of Lord Venkateswara, Padmavati and Andal are housed in separate shrines. There is a brass flagstaff in the temple premises which rises to a height of 42 ft (13 m).
The temple manifests a blend of South Indian, Rajasthani and Utkala temple architectures. In its entirety, it is made of 2000 tons of pure Rajasthani white marble.

Cyber tower



The Cyber Towers is the first phase of HITEC City and was inaugurated in November 1998. Companies include 7Hills Business Solutions, AppLabs, Keane, Microsoft, Oracle Corporation, GE Capital and Prithvi Information Solutions operate offshore development facilities or call centers in this four-quadrant, 10-store building.
The Cyber Towers building is divided into four quadrants with a large fountain in the middle of the quadrants. On the ground floor, there are banks, ATMs, courier services, book shops, gift shops, a snack bar, and "The Windows of the World" restaurant. The ground floor becomes a break-out area in the evening for many employees. With a total 10 floors, part of 7th and 6th floors and all of the 8th floor is occupied by Keane.

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport




Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, is a new airport near Shamshabad, about 22 km (14 mi) from the city of Hyderabad, in India. It is presently the largest airport in India[citation needed]. It is the only International Airport in Andhra Pradesh. It is named after former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. The airport has replaced the former international airport of the city, Begumpet Airport. The commercial operations began at 12:01 am on March 23, 2008. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is the first greenfield airport in India and is the second public-private partnership venture in the Indian airports, the first being the Cochin International Airport. It is a hub for Jet Lite, Kingfisher Airlines, SpiceJet and IndiGo Airlines. It also acts as a focus city for Air India, Jet Airways and Deccan.
Hyderabad International Airport has been ranked at the 10th spot much ahead of Chennai International Airport (14th Spot) and New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (25th spot) in an official statistics regarding the "Top 25 fastest growing airports 2007" worldwide with a 26.1% increase in the passenger traffic, according to the World Airport Traffic 2007 report released by the Airports Council International[1].
